Hey guys, it’s me, Kyle!

I’m the founder of SaveOnTrading, and I’m also a trader myself. I’ve been in the markets for 7+ years now. I spent four of those years trading professionally at SMB Capital (NYC office) and Kershner Trading Group (Austin office)—they’re joint ventures—before stepping away in 2024 to trade my own book, improve my life outside of markets (because let’s be real, life isn’t all charts), and build out a few businesses I had going on in the background.

My Trading Style

I focus primarily on two things:

• Overnight Momentum Trading
  Think of this as buying strong stocks on the close and holding them overnight, and looking for follow-through in after-hours or the next day . Same thing on the short side for stocks closing weak.
• Higher Time Frame Over Extension Trading
  This is when a stock’s been running (or dying) for days, weeks, or even months—and you step in when the move gets “absurd” and try to catch the big reversal trade.

I used to dabble in a bunch of other stuff and will still trade a special situation here and there, but these two are my bread and butter.

Honestly, I’m a deep, slow thinker. Scalping and trading limit up/downs? Not for me. Same goes for breaking news—unless it aligns with a setup I’m already in or eyeballing. Otherwise, I try really hard to stay in my lane and I am pretty good at that nowadays.

Back at SMB/Kershner, I was obsessed with markets and trading. 4 AM to 8 PM at the screen for four straight years. And when I wasn’t on the screen, I was talking about trades at the gym, over dinner, or at bars. I loved it. Until I didn’t. I completely burned myself out.

Now? I do my best to only go after the best setups. Most days, I’m saying no to everything. But when something truly lines up within my small little areas of focus, I really try to go for it and make it count.

Community & Idea Sharing

I’m a workaholic and love building stuff with other smart, obsessed people. That’s why I run the Overnight Momentum Trading Discord. It’s free. I firmly believe that the more ideas that come to me, the better off I will be. That’s why I am constantly sharing and encouraging others to do the same. Again, I’m pretty good at filtering out exactly what I’m looking for, so I run into no issues with constant idea flow! You never know where the next big opp will come from!
